The membership is subject to a number of selection criteria, the most important of which is a commitment to actively support the lux future lab´s vision and goals. This means contribution to the activities (conferences, pitching sessions, trainings, occasional brainstorming and soundboarding sessions, etc.) but also sharing networks and bootstrapping with the rest of the members. The lux future lab is about dynamics, proactivity and cooperative thinking of all participants.
Further selection criteria are:
- An innovative idea: a new business proposition in services providing, technology or ICT at large.
- A sustainable economic model with a clear growth strategy in terms of contribution to the economy, e.g. job creation potential, etc. Decisive elements are: competitive edge, possible existence of a proof of concept and a demonstration of a potential market place. For social businesses, the impact on social issues will be evaluated, as much as its economic model to ensure self-sustainability and scalability.

Financial means available:

The applicant should have adequate capital to keep the business up and running (at minimum have sufficient means to cover office lease and personal living expenses of its members) for 12 months.

A full commitment from the entrepreneur to support the development of the firm during its starting phase.
- Professional experience and know-how. The applicant should possess knowledge on the chosen field and basic business practices.
- The impact on existing incubator members: to ensure diversity we will limit access for companies with similar business models.
Besides the selection criteria, acceptance will depend on availability of space and the extent of the company’s need for space
