Digital data has snowballed through the proliferation of internet, smart phones and applications. Big Data has shaken up the financial services industry. Its potential is endless: fast and precise costumer intelligence, efficient fraud and sanction management, focused marketing and cost reduction… but how can the potential of these very fast, voluminous and diverse data be unlocked.

  • Jonathan Basse is the CTO and Founder of Data Essentials and works towards building a new class of applications, leveraging big and fast data, and native cloud infrastructure. Jonathan has gained a sound experience in Big Data while working for eProseed, Victor Buck Services, KBL and Oracle Corporations. Jonathan is fascinated by the unlimited potential the concrete analytics of Big Data brings to businesses.
  • Jed Grant is the CEO and Founder of KYC3. Besides being a member of lux future lab, KYC3 has also joined Geneva’s Fusion. KYC3 has been selected by BNP Paribas Wealth Management to work on concrete big data solutions.Jed is also a member of the Board of Directors of AMCHAM and professor at the University of Luxembourg, School of Finance. Before, Jed was a civilian officer at NATO where he served as a Section Chief on Information Technology. He has an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and studied computer science at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
